Miss Joan plays with a toy that is actually a finger trap. She listens to the mysterious man who seems to be full of pure intentions, but it becomes apparent his intentions are far from pure. The master of speed eating melons is teaching his apprentice a few tricks that involves Miss Joan's melons. Joan won the opportunity to be the melon queen in the towns parade, but the two speed eating champions decide to test their skills on the lovely Miss Joan.
